Hey, I'm Ashley, nice to meet you! Oftentimes when people talk about what got them into fitness, it's a story of huge transformation. Something happened and they made a 180 degree switch to focus on their health.
I didn't have a huge "revelation" or life change that got me into fitness, honestly. It was more of a slow burn that took several years to really ignite, and then kept growing. I actually have to credit my husband with helping me–he's been an athlete his whole life so I joined his gym to have something else to do with him.
I used to be the girl that would do 50 bodyweight squats (badly) and the leg press and call it a day. We all start somewhere, right? But when I find something I love, I throw myself in it fully. And over the years I learned how to lift properly and it’s made all the difference!
Now, I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and an OCB Bikini Pro, and I want to share my methods with you. I do not restrict foods, I do not kill myself with cardio. I believe in eating lots of nutritious and delicious food and lifting heavy weights, and above all, focusing on how you FEEL.
